* There's a note in one of the documents saying the following: "Finlande metal scrap Belfast Not traced".

Notes:
Commodore was in Lassell, Vice Commodore in Tremoda.
Clyde Commodore in Harbury
Barry Commodore in Fort Médine.

Elisabeth Marie, on a voyage from St. John's for Glasgow with 700 tons of scrap metal and manganese, was lost on Febr. 14 - not sure what happened to her. She had a complement of 25, 1 of whom died.

Belcrest became a straggler and was sunk on Febr. 14 by the Italian submarine Michele Bianchi. All 36 on board perished. Ref. external link below.

Alnmoor, on a voyage from New York for Glasgow with general cargo, became a straggler and was sunk on Febr. 15 by U-123. She had a complement of 55, all of whom perished.

Middleton collided with the Norwegian Tungsha on Febr. 18 and sank - no casualties. R. W. Jordan gives the year as 1942 for this incident, while Arnold Hague indicates it happened on this voyage with Convoy SC 21 - note that Tungsha was not from this convoy. See also this thread on my Ship Forum.

Fort Médine, on a voyage from Wabana for Port Talbot with 7000 tons of iron ore, struck a mine on Febr. 20 and broke in two - both sections sank. She had a crew of 47, 1 of whom died.
