Notes:
Commodore was in Merchant Royal.

The Rescue Vessel Bury was also with this convoy for a while. She was on her 1st voyage as such, having started this voyage from Clyde on Dec. 31-1941 with the westbound Convoy ON 52, to Iceland Jan. 7-1942, then joined Convoy SC 62 from Iceland on Jan. 9-1942 till dispersed on the 12th, returning to Clyde independently with arrival there on Jan. 14.

Baron Erskine, on a voyage from Tampa (left Dec. 9-1941) for Loch Ewe and Garston with a cargo of rock and super phosphates, had parted company with the convoy on Jan. 1-1942 due to bad coal (last reported Jan. 2), and was torpedoed and sunk on Jan. 6 by U-701. She had a crew of 33 and 7 gunners, all of whom perished.
