Manager: K. Th. Einersen, Oslo
Tonnage:
1320 gt

Built at Fredrikstad mek. Verksted, Fredrikstad (295) for A/S Bestum II (K.Th.Einersen), Oslo in 1939 (another Brush had been built by the same yard and sold in 1938). "Boilers on deck" design.

 WW II:

Brush can be found listed in the westbound North Atlantic Convoy ON 181 in May-1943, joining the convoy from Iceland on May 4, station 45 (several Norwegian ships took part).

There's a ship by this name listed as sailing in Convoy SG 26 from St. John's to Greenland in June-1943, not sure if this was the Norwegian Brush? There's also a ship named Askot listed, possibly the Norwegian Askot? (See external link below).

 POST WAR:

Renamed Askholm in 1955 (still Norwegian), Pakistan Protector in 1959 (Pakistan), Shujaat in 1962 (Pakistan). In Lloyd's Register in 1964 but not in 1966.
