Notes: The Rescue Vessel Copeland was also with this convoy for a while. She was on her 7th voyage as such, having started this voyage from Clyde with Convoy OB 331 on June 8-1941 until detached on the 12th, then joined SC 33 on June 15 to return to Clyde, June 21. Barrhill, on a voyage from New York for London with 7000 tons of grain, did not make it to her destination. She was bombed and sunk by German aircraft on June 27/28 (midnight) - She had a crew of 38 and 2 gunners, 5 crew died. To the next SC convoy in my list SC 34 |
