CONVOY HX 164
|
Departed Halifax on Dec. 8-1941, arrived Liverpool on the 23rd (Arnold Hague gives 43 ships). This does not mean that all the ships arrived that port on that date; some ships had other destinations. |

Notes: The CAM ships Empire Clive and Empire Day also sailed in this convoy - stations not given. British Destiny - scheduled for station 27, did not sail. Also, according to a note in connection with Convoy SC 60, British Statesman, sailing in that convoy, came from HX 164. * The name was spelt Norsetank, but this should be Norsktank. ** W.H. Libby is listed as American in "The World's Merchant Fleets", under Panamanian flag from 1940. Commodore Ship was the British D/S Norwegian in station 51. To the next HX convoy in my list HX 165 |
