The Rescue Vessel Accrington was also with this convoy (requisitioned in March-1942). She was on her 8th voyage as such, having started this voyage from Clyde with the westbound Convoy ONS 20 on Oct. 10-1943 (to Halifax Oct. 26), returning with SC 146 from Halifax on Nov 6 to Clyde Nov. 22. ("Convoy Rescue Ships 1940-1945", Arnold Hague).

Roy Martin, England has told me that the ships departed according to their pendant numbers, with the ship in station 11 going out first, and the one in station 102 leaving last.

* Roy Martin has told me the following re. this ship:
"The American Salvor was a US built wooden salvage vessel (60 meters long) destined for the British Admiralty. It was under the British flag (Red Ensign) with a crew from the managers Risdon Beazley Ltd. British sisters were Boston Salvor, Lincoln Salvor and Southampton Salvor, US sisters USS Brant, USS Diver and USS Swivel".
