CONVOY HX 339
Advance Sailing Telegram gives departure New York on Febr. 17-1945.
Arnold Hague's "The Allied Convoy System" gives 79 ships in this convoy, w/departure Febr. 18 - arrived Liverpool March 3.

Transcribed from several documents received from Tony Cooper - His source: Public Records Office, Kew.
Details re. Arctic convoys were found in "Convoys to Russia 1941-1945" by Bob Ruegg and Arnold Hague.

Crossed out ships did not sail.
A 1 form is not available to me and, therefore, I don't know the station numbers for these ships.

See also westbound convoys from the same time period, for instance ON 277 and ON 278

Liberty Ships - This website has been used to check the spelling of all the Liberty ships listed in this convoy (convoy docs don't always have the correct spelling, or they may be difficult to decipher). As will be seen, a few of them had just been delivered in Jan.-1945. The 2 websites below have been used for the same purpose.
