I'd like some help with the Norwegian Oksøy. What kind of a ship was it, a trawler? Would it be referred to as HMS Oksøy, or H Nor MS Oksøy?

I've found this vessel within the columns of Convoy JW 64 from Loch Ewe to Russia in Febr.-1945 - why would she be in the convoy itself and not in the escort group? Would this have something to do with what went on in Finnmark at the time perhaps?
