I am writing an article about the death of a sailor, who was on the Minenschiff Juminda. Juminda was an former Italian ship, taken over after the Italian ' surrender'.
Can anyone supply me with a photo of this ship? Any help is greatly appreciated!
The article will appear in the next issue of the Werkgroep Kriegsmarine magazine, a Dutch society studying the connection between the Netherlands and the KM, and the history of the KM in general.

In "Der Landser Grossband Nr. 954 - Trag÷die vor San Stefano" is a picture of JUMINDA and one of the ELBANO GASPERI (her former name as Italian ship). And some other pictures.
This small booklet (about 60 pages) was written in German by Manfred Krellenberg and is well researched from the KTB's of Juminda, material from the son of Korvkpt. Brill and with assistance of Dr. JŘrgen Rohwer.
It describes the missions of the JUMINDA and her sinking and was written im memory of Karl-Heinz Waack, who died on this ship.
If you would like to now where you can get it, just drop me a mail.
