Dont know if its any point posting this far behind the original question, but Bakke was Knut Knutsen OAS' wifes maiden-name. He named all his tankers after his part of the family-three; Knutsen, -and all the liners after his wifes'.

And, yeah, the company is still going strong, but under other owners and the liner-services is long gone.
