Can anyone help? I am looking for information on a Norwegian Whaler that was hired by the British Royal Navy in World War Two and re-named H.M.S Wolf. I understand that it was sunk in the North Atlantic with only two survivors.

The information you have given does not seem to match any Norwegian whalers that had been taken over by the Royal Navy and which were sunk in the Second World War. The name Wolf is suspect, however, since there was an HMCS Wolf (ex Blue Water), a requisitioned yacht that was taken over by the Royal Canadian Navy on 2 Oct 1940, and paid off on 22 Dec 1945. A duplication of name, albeit with the RCN, would not have been made.
JJ Colledge's "Ships of the Royal Navy" lists only the above vessel Wolf in service in the Second World War.
