In a sense too I am researching the Moero incident, since I have discovered that I have one relative who drowned during the sinking. A second reason is even more important. My main research is on the Baltic people who became the first ever migrants not of British nationality to be selected and sponsored by the Australia Government. These people left Bremerhaven for Australia on 30 October 1947. Among them was at least one Moero survivor. Unfortunately now this man is dead. Another survivor here in Australia's capital is now too old and ill to talk. I will be very interested in any pieces of information contributors to this forum can provide.
