Glad I stumbled across this web site. Perhaps you could help with further information about this incident but especially the crew.

My Grandfathers brother, Thomas Wallis Lee, was Steward on the Hildawell and is listed as killed on 20th Dec 1916 aged 27, however I see a further report on www.barnettresearch that suggests the Hildawell was off Yarmouth on the 19th Dec and that while probably a victim of mines it cannot be ascertained precisely where or when she was destroyed.

Are there any photographs available also?
