Hi Members, can any body out there help me please? My brother Ronald Kenneth Richards, born in 1925 in Nottinghamshire,moved to Holborn London,he ran away to sea at the tender age of 16 year. And lied about his age and joined the Norwegian Merchant Marines in about 1941, sadely I dont know what ship he joined or what he done.The ship he joined was torpedoed, he was apparently picked up by another ship which was also torpedoed, and he eventually made it safely to land on a third ship. I think with not knowing the ships envolved, its a very difficult quest.I was born after he left for sea, and would love to know his sea going history. Maureen.
