Willamette Valley / Edgehill

I came across this vessel during my researches. Perhaps someone here can clear up the differences I came along.

Was the name of the ship Willamette Valley or Edgehill when she was sunk on 29.06.40 by U-51? (When was she renamed?)
Is there a difference between Q-ship (decoy ship) and SSV (Special Service Vessel)?
Was the tonnage of this ship 4702 or 4724 tons?
Was she a steam or motor ship?
Was the designation HMS used by Q-ships, SSV, OBV (Ocean Boarding Vessel) and RFA (Royal Fleet Auxiliary)?

Any further information on this sinking would be very helpful.

Regards
Rainer
