I was very interested to see your posting as my husband's great uncle is your father John Muir. My late mother in law Elizabeth Hooper (nee Templeton) told me that she remembered being told about the death of her uncle and since then I have been trying to trace some information relating to the incident. Several people have been very helpful in sending info and a photo of the Blairatholl.
