I'm working on a report regarding the vessels dumped in the Skagerak full of gas ammunition 1945-1948.
There is a great deal of uncertainty about these wrecks, but I believe I have most of the misunderstandings sorted out.
One thing that makes this more diffcult, is that in parallell with the CW convoys containing poison, other ships without were scuttled in C-convoys.
Is anyone in here in possession of a list of the vessels classified as "C" - for dumping or immediate breaking after the Potsdam Conferance 1945?
I'm also very interested in any pictures of the ships Lotte (1784 BRT, built 1905) and Edith Howalt (3000 BRT, built 1903).
Finally, anyone have a copy of BELGIAN SHIPLOVER 1/1966, containing the article "Ships scuttled after WW II with cargoes of poison gas". ?
