10.52: Bought by P/r Arne Kalve, Bakkasund, Austevoll, Norway.
Used as a seiner in the big herringfisheries ( summer: Iceland and winter: Norw. westcoast ) and as a freighter between the seasons ( for instance with fish from Norway to Boulogne ). was H-44-AV

8.62: The owner bought the german steamtrawler JOSEF BODDEN, took her to Fitjar Mek. Verksted, Fitjar, Norway ( shipyard ) for rebuilding into seiner.
Fall62: HAVBRAUT went to Fitjar as well, where the engine ( 500bhk National ), some winches etc was taken off and installed in the "new" seiner, which was delivered 5.63 as HAVBRAUT I.
Old HAVBRAUTs hull was then filled with gravel and sunken in Bjørnefjorden ( between Røttingtangen and Alholmene ) using dynamite.
