Removed from British register 17.02.1880 as sold to foreigners. Purchased by Venezuelan Government for Bs. 277,750 Served 1880. The Government gave free to Vallenilla the war steamer "Republica", which he did with the name of "Bermudez" to trade the line race from the port of La Guaira to Ciudad Bolivar, in the cabotage trade. 1888 sunk by collision in R. Orinoco.
Some materials aler not clear,and suggesting after removin form Hamburg register she was renamed "Gresford"
