re ATA 231-233: That may be an older version of TC's listing. For the last few years it has has read "Cancelled 1945 but completed and sold".
Rollie Webb's unpublished research on Levingston's production notes that the three were cancelled on 13 Aug 1945 and that Levingston yard records say nothing further. However, he also records that Levingston secured a contract in 1946 from USN to complete two ATAs (unspecified, and may have been unfinished hulls ATA 234-235 from Gulfport Shipbuilding). Then Levingston delivered three ex-ATAs in 1948 to the US Navy for onward transfer to Brazil as TRITÃO, TRIDENTE and TRIUNFO, at least one of which was apparently a Levingston hull. (Tim Colton still has these as Gulfport's ATA 234-236, but that page predated Rollie's conclusions).
So there are still two out of the five Levingston/Gulfport ATAs for which the post-war completion details are unknown, though no specific pointers to them going to USSR.
