I am in contact with one of the pilots who took part on the Kilbotn raid and he tells me the flying "charts" belonged to the RAF and the names for places were adopted British/English names.

I am also working out the flight plans by deduction - fortunately I have the Latitude and Longitude plots for the aircraft carriers flying off the aircraft so the job is not too difficult.
