The commander of "Honningsvaag" was a Norwegian Lt. His full name was Arne Eivind Trygve Plyhn. He was c. o. from 23.4.1940 until 25.6.1940, the ship was ready for service on 30.4 armed with 1-47 mm gun and 1-12,7 mm (.5in Colt) MG (norwegian guns taken from other warships).
The ship participated in the sinking of "Albion" 19.5.1940. Arrived Thorshavn 2.6.1940, rebuild as escort vessel (British pannent 4.277). Ready for war service 31.8.1940. In Norwegian naval service until command was stricken 23.8.1946 at 1200.
