Thanks for that, but I still cannot understand how this seaman joined the convoy at Loch Ewe (West coast) and got sunk on the East coast of Scotland having already been to Loch Eweon the way to Belfast/// Funny to say the least, do't you think?
Unless the old man is mistaken.
