I am researching the BYMS & YMS classes. I have some plans from British & US sources including one or two crew lists. I am looking for accurate lines or offsets, construction detail and some explanation of how the sahip's company was berthed in both USN and RN. Most US vessels had 4 or 5 officers and many had 2 or 3 CPOs who are normally berthed separately. British craft would have had at least 4 Chiefs and POs. However, general arrangement plans show berthing for 3 officers (1 single and 1 double cabin) and two crew berting compartments but no separate accommodatuion for senior ratings.
Can anyone out there help, please?
