I have records of my brother's service. His name Norvie B. Tinney, RM2/c. In his records there is a statment made by the Captain of LST 387 stating how he had aided in getting the 387 into port and aided in evacuation of the wounded. It also states he was a passenger on the ship at that time. Does anyone have any info on this. Thanks.
