I wonder if anyone has any information on or who served with my father who served as a merchant seaman between 1941 - 1960. I have very little info on the ships he crewed apart from the details below. He did mention that two of the ships he served on during the war were torpedoed and sank, but he survived these.

No information, apart from him being torpedoed twice during WWII.
Dec 1947 - Mar 1948:
Aged 24 Crewed the 'SS Ocean Wave' From Ystad,Sweden (Nov 1947) to New York (arrived 3/12/1947). Then sailing to Cuba on 29/12/1947.
Aged 24 Crewed (as Oiler) on the 'SS Ocean Wave' from Jucaro, Cuba (sailed 2/2/1948) to New York (arrived 12/2/1948).
Aged 24 Crewed (as Oiler) on the 'SS Ocean Wave' from Jucaro, Cuba (Sailed 4/3/1948) to New York (arrived 11/3/1948).
1948 - 1960:
1952 - Married and resided in Liverpool. No info on any ships he served on, but he was still crewing as a merchant seaman until about 1960.
