I am interested in any information about Kosmos maiden voyage in 1929/30 to Antarctica. This whaling expedition as it turns out was very historic. My grandfather Haakon Michael (Stebeck) Reigem was onboard and I am trying to piece together what life on board the whaler would have been like. I would be grateful for any information about this voyage; personnel, cargo, guests, ports of call, Admiral Byrd expedition connection, Allan Innes-Taylor information, Bernt Balchen connection or any suggestion on where to find Kosmos information.
