I can unfortunately only offer very limited info. The "Delf Haven" seems to me was the Dutch freighter "Delfshaven" (5.281 grt.), which was sunk by U-572 on August 6, 1942. I have crew-lists of that moment and also of Dec. 17, 1941 but your grandfather's name is not on them.
