Hallo Visje

Pommern was the former french fruitship Belain D'Esnambuc (shipyard: Framnes Mekaniske Verksted, Sandefjord built 1939). The french owner was Cie. Générale Transatlantique, Le Havre. The ship was seized on 16.12.1942 and was planned for the fast escorter SG-7. In duty as minelayer Pommern on 01.05.1943. Sunk on 05.10.1943 at position 43°47'N, 07°51'O on an italian mine.
