I have found an M/S Homborsund in a very old book (1947), built in 1891, 253 gt - is this the one you're talking about too?

The Transport III (steam ship, 262 gt) I'm talking about was built in Fredrikstad in 1893, became Transport for Brĝdrene Jacobsen, Haugesund in 1894, then Grimstad for Veritas D/S (Bertram Jacobsen) in 1897. (Wrecked as Bandak of Porsgrunn in 1949).

Is this the same ship? If so, do you know when she got new machinery and became a motor vessel? Is the tonnage 253 gt correct?
