So, since I'm such a landcrab, should I then assume that we are talking about a steamer? I have to admit that ship engines is not my best subject. So far I've been using Hocking. If he says that a vessel has, e.g. triple expansion engines it seems to be a steamer and if it has oil engines it's a motor vessel.
