Well I donīt know about the timeperiod. You see I have found a "lifering" you know the red and white rings that is placed on a ship made for rescuing people in water. The ring is made out of cork and is sorry to say repainted. But under the new paint you can see the letters for "Helga Knudsen Haugesund". I have asked the Knut knutsen companie but they have answered they never had a ship named this way.

The ring is probably found in the northern part of the swedish westcoast OR on fishing tours to waters nerby the Shetlands.

So....where can I find information....
