Hi,
Ltn.Cdr Røren was granted to carry out the operation in Novika after own considerations. No timeframe given acording to my sources. The operation "Seagull" (demolition of Glomfjord power plant, should not require any shore assistant. Please correct me, if I'm wrong!
After unloading the commandoes (5 Norwegian and 1 Briton), the Uredd was to proceed to Senja (Mefjorden) and pick up 2 French crewmembers from the French submarine Junon (left behind) and 2 Norwegians. This operation was commanded by the remaing Norwegian commando soldier (Lt Skog), acting as scout.
The Uredd was tasked to leave Mefjorden no later than the night between February 19-20, and report when homebound crossing 63°.
She was considered overdue February 26 by the Admirality.
Erling
