Hi Thomas,
Many thanks for your thoughts. I am trying to identify the boat used to land two SIS agents on the Tunisian coast on the night of 28 November 1941. Unfortunately MI6 archives are still closed.
àIn the Malta signals, it appears that the matter was discussed and that either the ex-MAS 452 or the RAF motorboat CLYDE were possibly involved but I would not rule out if a third boat was not used. The MAS 452 was still discussed for clandestine operations in February 1943 but apparently new engines were required.By this time MTBs were operating from Malta and used to land agents in Axis-occupied Tunisia.
All the best,
Platon
