The only thing which is strange about it is the fact Roskill usually does not count ships lost by marine causes (without contribution of enemies). Both ships were lost in the North Atlantic and more probably in Dec 42. As I understand you found both ships in Volume II covering vessels lost or untraced, not in Volume I dealing with British, Allied and Neutral merchant vessels sunk or destroyed by war causes. True?
