Canadian steamer ALFREDA

In 1904 the small steamer ALFREDA was built by Cook, Welton & Gemmell at Beverley, England for the War Office, London on behalf of Royal Canadian Army Service Corps and based at Halifax NS.

In 1947 she was purchased by Quebec River Transport Inc., Sorel and converted to a small tanker. She capsized in the St Lawrence in 1965, was raised and broken up at Sorel PQ.

I wonder whether "The Ships of Canada's Naval Forces 1910-2002" has an entry for her (in the UK many War Office vessels were subsequently transferred to the Admiralty) that would tell more of her military service 1904-1947?
