That is wonderful - thank you so much for sharing! I have written about all 5 fellows mentioned in this article on my website. Søren Brandsnes died recently. I met him (and several others) when I visited Kristiansand in 2003. It was like meeting old family members, I felt like I knew them already, since I have written so much about them all.

There has been an enormous interest in the warsailors in Norway in recent years, countless books have been written. When I started warsailors in the 1990's, only 3 existed.

Better late than never, but I have to say, about flippin' time!
