Ecuadorian Tug Cotopaxi

That small 150t tug served in the Ecuador navy till 1987.
She is reported transferred from USA in 1947.
Jane's gives her origin as ex R.T.Ellis built 1945
by Equitable Building Co,. Incorop.
Unfortunately I have not found in any sorces that shipyard (where was situated?, etc) not suchj a tug in US service.
