Thanks Phil for your answer
By the way I have far more knowledge of the air side of WWII than the naval one, so have a lot on the Takoradi air route.
But I am now interested in finding more about the aircraft lost at sea.
At this time (February 1941), no Spitfire was sent abroad, but there were also aircraft being ferried to Commonwealth countries for expanding of air schools of the Empire Training Plan.
For example, four Fairey Battles were lost with the SS Huntingdon lost on 24 February 1941.
I am interested to know where the precise cargo of ships during WWII could be found. If data is not available for Borgland, it may be available for other. Thanks in advance
