Patro report says blew up. ULTRA position 20-16N 116-114E. "Senji Yuso Sendan" op. cit. says was the only Maru in convoy MAMO-04 with 3 escorts; hit 04.35 by 3 torpedoes & sunk by the stern. "Senji Nippon Senmeiroku" op. cit. says 98 crew, 21 guards and 355 of 1,850 troops and passengers killed [Jentschura cit. gives date 1 Jan. 1944, misprint].
