According to Soviet sources SKR-14 was lost to grounding on a sandbank during a storm on 17.10.1943. U-636 laid mines on 23.08.1943 and the TBILISI was lost in this minefield on 06.09.1943. So the field must have been known to the Soviets and a loss due a mine explosion can not be proven.
