Thanks Klaus, I like to get everything clear but with the Russian Navy this is not always so easy! I was compiling my data base and was using a Russian source.."The Encyclopaedia of the Imperial Russian Fleet] this covers alot of ships in the 1890-1917 period. In this book the author is specific about two vessels of that name. 1. A dispatch vessel [ex cargo freigter-Black Sea 1914-1920] and 2. A dispatch vessel/transport- Siberia 1892-1922. According to this book the former left the Crimea for Bizerta in 11/20
and was subsequently interned, then sold on. The other vessel is stated to have left Vladivostok and was sold at Manila!
To complicate matters further I seem to remember that on a previous forum Paul Silverstone listed YAKUT as part of the transport detachment at that time.
Well Klaus, somewhere, something isn't right and I just like to get everything correct [which is why I started getting interested in this subject and all its contradictions!] then I can move on to the next puzzle! Thanks again , Steve.
