HI Axel,

I have the collision date as 6/2/45. She was returning from Sweden (Göteborg to Aberdeen) carrying a cargo of ball bearings and was in collision with sistership Hopewell in the Skagerrak. The crew abandoned but Gay Viking remained afloat and fell into German hands and was towed in.
Restored to the British in May.

That's all I have, further details of how the collision happened would be appreciated,
