The Mewa I, mentioned here (original name VL 45) was built in 1919 / 1920 for NV Visserij Maatschapij Doggersbank not by Wed. Y. de Jong, Gouderak, Netherlands as you mention, but by the shipyard “Nimmerrust” in Lekkerkerk (Netherlands) owned by my grandfather François de Meijer and his brother Gustaaf Adolf de Meijer between 1918 and 1920.
