Hi Guys

On 23 September 1914, the HESVIK of 1,232-tons, was in ballast and on passage from Arendal for Grimsby when she detonated a mine and sank, 8½ miles south of Longstone lighthouse.

Does anyone know if any crew was lost or killed and who/what laid the mine, please ?

Cheers Ron
