From the book 150 years of the Maltese Cross The story of the Tyne, Blyth & Wear Tug companies, There is reference to the sale of a tug to Russia , originally Named George V built for the Redhead companies fleet sold to Russia for £10,000 Renamed Salvage Steamer No 2

On 129759 built Armstrong Whitworth & Co Ltd Yard No 831

If this information is of ant use I will forward a scan from the book which has a Photograph when new from the company archives and additional details of length etc ( which was increase 103.5 feet Circa 1916 )

Regards Ray
