Caterine Madre an conte di Savoia

Hallo
The two italien ships Caterina Madre (4020 BRT) and Conte di Savoia (48502 BRT) were sunk shortly after the italian capitulation in september 1943.
Caterina Madre sunk by mine on 13.09.1943 (who laid this mine ?) and the Conte die Savoia was sunk by air on 11.09.1943.
I want to know, whether this two ships were already seized by the germans at the time of sinking ?
