From Norway.
I have read the book "SS Ravnefjell".
It is published in Norwegian only, I believe.
RAVNEFJELL was a turbine ship for the Great Lakes.
It was therefore not MS but SS (Steam Ship) RAVNEFJELL.
Domestic Norwegian Ships used DS for Dampskip.(Norwegian: Damp)
Ships for international operation used English notations.
Most Norwegian ships during WWII were Motor (Diesel engine)Ships - MS:
SS Ravnefjell was considered a Lucky Ships to survive the convoy service for 5 years.
