 Some Convoy Voyages:

Her 1940 voyages and some 1941 voyages are listed on Page 1 of the archive documents. The rest of her 1941 voyages are shown on Page 2, which also has most of her 1942 voyages (it'll be noticed that she occasionally had long stays in port). According to Arnold Hague, she sailed in Convoy CO 37, which left Newcastle, N.S.W. on Oct. 18-1942 and arrived Melbourne on the 22nd, agreeing with the information found on Page 2.

The following spring, A. Hague has included her in Convoy PG 42, departing Caloundra on Apr. 5-1943, arriving Sydney, N.S.W. on Apr. 8 (nationality is given as British, but this is incorrect). According to Page 3 of the archive documents, she left Brisbane on Apr. 5 and was bound for Newcastle, N.S.W., where she arrived on the 8th, leaving again that same day for Melbourne.

The convoys mentioned here are available via the external links provided below.

Again, please see the archive documents for information on the rest of her voyages (to July-1946).

 POST WAR:

According to this external page, she was sold in Apr.-1946 to Shanghai Development Co. Ltd., Shanghai and renamed New Shanghai. From 1949, sailed as Romantico for Wheelock Marden & Co. Ltd. (Wallem & Co), Panama and from 1951 for Trinity Development Co. Ltd., Panama, later that year for Far Eastern & Panama Transport Co., Panama. Sailed as Hoping Shi Err for The People's Republic of China, Canton, China from Oct.-1951. Owners in 1973 were China Ocean Shipping Co., Canton, China, no name change. No longer in Lloyd's register in 1977, presumed broken up.
