Note: I've compared the above with a list of ships in Convoy MKS 16 received from Don Kindell, based on A. Hague's own research, and find that A. Hague has also included HMS Allegiance and HMS Derwent in this convoy, the former towing the latter.

Escorts (also received from Don Kindell, whose own work, covering "Royal & other Navies Day-by-Day in World War 2" can be viewed at this website):
July 23-July 26:
Borage, Dahlia, Hurricane, Meadowsweet, Monkshood, Rockingham.

Algiers July 21-1943.

Transcribed from the document mentioned above, received from Don Kindell, based on A. Hague's own research. (In his "The Allied Convoy System", A. Hague indicates that Convoy MKS 18 had started out in Tripoli on July 17-1943 and arrived Gibraltar on the 23rd).
